Iranian authorities have accused a Swedish EU diplomat, held in a Tehran prison for more than 600 days, of conspiring with Iran’s arch-enemy Israel to harm the Islamic Republic, the judiciary said Sunday.
He is a diplomat, who took a holiday trip to Iran, so he was not officially on a diplomatic mission when he was arrested. So the normal considerations of diplomats does not apply here.
