Just in your life, how many people’s lives have you improved? Have you found keto to be a good tool for your friends and family?

I’ve gotten about 7 people to go keto -

    • 2 stuck with it and saw big improvements (weight, pcos remission)
    • 1 dabbles on and off - just enough to put her t2d into remission, but still addicted to carbs
    • 3 have tried it and are still ongoing
    • 1 friend was having monthly migraine headaches that took them out for 3 days at a time, I found the literature, showed it to them (they didn’t read it, heh), they did a semi-low carb plus potassium protocol and haven’t had any migraines in 7 months now.

I’ve gotten 3 people to try carnivore

    • One has severe IBS, and is trying carnivore right now because nothing else is working
    • One has a severe cyst issue that has no resolution outside of some carnivore case reports, so I just pointed them at the reports and wished them good luck (they still owe me a bbq lunch)
    • One is just playing with the idea, increasing their meat intake, haven’t cut the carbs out now, but every step toward better health counts.

I’ve found the best tool to help someone is to gift them a CGM to wear for two weeks, so they can see their sugar responses, which makes everything real and less theoretical

I’ve lent books, I’ve printed papers, i just try to be a helpful resource to those around me. Sadly NCD (noncommunicable chronic diseases) are so abundant everyone i meet has some metabolic symptom.
