Today’s social food adventures, looks great right? The hamburger had a fun surprise - onions and other starches! These carbs, they get put into everything (probably to pad out profit margins)

Hamburg steak recipes, if Japanese, traditionally have breadcrumbs mixed into them too, to help hold the meat together. Supermarket ones can even have preservatives, I was going to buy them but after looking at the ingredient list decided against it.

For example, this popular recipe: https://cookpad.com/jp/recipes/19788495

    パン粉 大さじ5(約カップ1/3)

calls for 1/3rd cup of breadcrumbs for every 250g of minced meat.

Australian rissoles typically have plenty of breadcrumbs in them too

Also never trust an Aussie sausage, they are rarely just meat, they usually have about 30% bread

I suppose the safest thing to order is to avoid marinated meats, and hamburgers altogether…

Today’s social meals with others include

    • Chicken
    • Hamburg steak (with hidden onions)
    • salmon sashimi
    • muscles and cheese

a pretty good carnivore day, I think I got 150g of protein in.
