Kind of disappointed that it just won’t turn on after moving. It was powered off for about 6 months. So that might have something to do with it.

I ordered a new replacement battery from AliExpress, it should arrive in 2 months. But if people know some magic, I’m happy to try it

I don’t know if the advice I’m about to give is good, but I did have my RM2 refusing to start after a drained battery which I managed to recover by leaving it overnight connected to a higher-amp charger.

      It’s a good idea. I’ll give it a shot.

Sorry to hear. I don’t have any experience with rM batteries (and only have a rM2 myself) so can’t help. Hope someone else knows something here.

One of the features of the new Ratta Supernote is repairability: https://supernote.com/pages/supernote-nomad

I own a Remarkable 1 and 2, but I switched to a Supernote after Remarkable locked the existing features behind a subscription.

The Supernote A5X has been a great alternative and I haven’t looked back. Also, they don’t require a subscription! Also, the nibs never need replacing.

Yes, the screens feel different, but you learn to like it. I actually prefer the Supernote writing feel now.
