The EU’s top court on Thursday fined Hungary 200 million euros ($216 million) and imposed a daily one-million-euro penalty for failing to follow the bloc’s asylum laws and illegally deporting migrants, a decision Budapest slammed as “unacceptable”.

Avoids law for four years. Finally gets fined a measly 200 million and one million every day from there on out till it’s solved. Basically just an additional cost to do business instead of a punishment. Amazing.

Don’t fine. Just stop all subsidies to Hungary. Europe is a two-way street. And if Hungary doesn’t like that it can gtfo.

€565m and then €365m per year for all your immigration problems solved is a bargain. We up to tens of billions overspent on our problems.

I guess it’s fine as long as EPP led governments in Poland and Lithuania do this, just not Orban because he’s a bit of an ass.
