Bees are more risk adverse when presented with a danger in their environment?

I thought this behaviour was pretty much universal among anything with two neurons to rub together?

Am I missing something?

It’s almost like all ancient cultures of the world already knew that the natural world is sentient and for some reason the west (or at least the media) spends decade after decade stroking its own ego with drip-realizations that it might’ve been true all along.

Hmm.
