Why is it weird to block inappropriate sites on a local network?

And “other people” being his own children? Yeah that’s not weird, that’s responsible.

Because it’s not a blocker, it’s a reporting tool. It doesn’t stop anything, it just invades privacy. It doesn’t teach that pornography is bad, it teaches them that it’s restricted to someone they’re not. It prevent parents from actually having to teach their kids morals and how to process the world, in favor of just blocking it out and pretending bad things don’t happen.

Not my cup of tea but it comes down to a difference in parenting and it’s fucking weird that it needs to be a national news story that random people feel like they need to have an opinion on.

It’s not a difference in parenting, it’s a difference in perceiving other people as actual people. Thinking that restricting access to knowledge, makes it go away, doesn’t consider that other people, have self actualization. In other words, everyone else are just things, not people.

You have to realize that leftists want kids watching porn. I think they get off on it or something.
