This is great
If you called for help but no one came, how would you feel? Despite sad songs sung by cowboys, believe that not all roses have thorns. Dare to be stupid but don’t be an American Idiot.
This is great
This is the big thing, monocropping is the big problem with lawns (outside of the literal desert.)
Yeah, and part of the reason many American cities are car dependent hellscapes is because they ripped out earlier public transit in exchange for “more individual freedom” in the form of being forced to pilot multi-ton death machines through heavy traffic to get to anything that isn’t more houses. (Yes, I am aware that this is a case of hindsight being 20/20, and the people who did that didn’t know all the things we know now and thus were extraordinarily myopic, but many European cities (including Amsterdam IIRC) did similar things, but they mostly had the good sense to put it back.)
(To be clear, you are also correct.)
Hah, imagine a corner store…
Party on, party on!
To some degree I agree with you. But it should be noted that poorly regulated capitalism often makes the smart decision for your own best interests to screw with others. Whereas better regulated capitalism (and socialism) theoretically makes that a smart decision less often.
Also, companies do exist, they exist specifically to shunt responsibility off of individuals. (Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, because single people having responsibility for massive economic things is probably a recipe for disaster.)
We do need a significant change in culture, we also need to change the system.
The president also pardoned a bunch of domestic terrorists, screwed over our farmers, and undermined our energy security and trade domination, not to mention replacing every federal job he could with incompetent buffoons. I hate that old white guy.
In this case by cup it probably actually refers to a pint glass of water (two measuring cups), but in any case not an exact measurement, so it doesn’t make sense to give exact measurements. Its describing the vessels of transportation, not the amounts.
Go India! I hope to see more of this.
I agree, mass transit should only ever use diesel if its actively being established for the first time (for now still cheaper per bus/train, if you’re establishing a new grid, its critical to start with as many buses/trains as possible) and once its gotten established and is being used by a segment of the population it should be switched as quickly as possible.
Nah, I’m old enough that I can drink in most countries, just not the US…
Actually, by big cabbage, what kind of weight are we talking about?
Really? Neat, I’ll do that eventually.
I don’t drink because I’m underage (for the US), but this looks actually really good, I’ll probably do it eventually.
For context, often drank by children where? Because that feels like important information, I only know mead as an alcoholic drink. Also, that feels like it would be a lot of work relative to the end product if you weren’t making an alcoholic drink, though TBH I only know like the basics of the process. Still sounds like a great idea, just, probably for someone else.
I’ll do that eventually (I like sauerkraut, but the store bought stuff is almost universally underwhelming on this side of the Atlantic, I’ve had it good like one time outside of Germany), but I’ll have to get another smaller jar, this one would make an obscene amount.
Um, ok…
No way, why would I buy milk raw and then have to boil it?
Not quite a full 20%, but yeah, in your situation, that’s a big longevity problem. This data is obviously better for people not living in very hot climates. It looks like the first graph (which the 1.8% average is pulled from) is keeping climate constant (and probably temperate.)
