I don’t have anything helpful to say. Just that that really sucks.

I’ve written semi-personal tools that other team members sometimes use that will break in 2100. The comments note this and really hope they aren’t still using these by then
I had some high school friends in the early 00s who spoke to each other entirely in references. They quoted movies, their jokes came from stand-up specials, etc. They cracked each other up, and most other people just let them do their thing. They weren’t “cringe” or unpopular, but there was a certain amount of humoring them.
A friend of mine ended up marrying one at 18 and then divorcing eventually. I spoke to her recently, and she said he’s basically still a teenager. Maybe that’s unrelated?
If it’s fun to pretend, then I’m fine pretending.
My favorite helicopter fact is that helico means “spiral” like helix, and pter means “winged” like pterodactyl.
“Song 2” was especially good.
Is the “Mission Accomplished” banner from Bush’s tenure still available?
Yeah, they started an internal audit for other stolen works, then said that they’re delaying indefinitely. I know that the development has been fraught and there are other factors, but what the hell did they find?
It’s amazing how long I can stay pissed about how WebOS was squandered. My Pre had personality; it’s the only mobile I actually miss (aside from nostalgia).
Too many games decide to be either horny or good; I applaud the studies that try to do both.
That’s Stellar Blade. It came out as a PS5 exclusive a year or so ago but has just landed on PC like yesterday I think. It’s a souls-like from a new (to non-mobile games) Korean studio. Evidently the game is very good both as a game and at making people super horny.
I haven’t played it, but I’ve been amused by some of the reviews.
I got a couple of carbon steel pans. The upkeep is similar to cast iron but much lighter / easier to handle. I reach for it 90% of the time.
Lol. The story at least elevates it a bit
Yeah. I sometimes have multiple long stops for very long trips, but you’re right, that is very seldom that I have to stop at all. And I just plan something, like lunch, for those occasions.
Not that it makes it better, but I wonder what the stats are for first-time homebuyers. People are buying second and third homes now and driving up the average age.
Which I hate.
Yeah, I get what you’re saying. Perhaps <1% would have been more clear for that one.
Yeah. First I ball it up and scrub the perimeter before unfurling it and scrubbing back and forth at different angles.
There are 128.45 million households in the US. This graph explicitly round to the nearest whole percent. To have a percentage of 0, there could still be 642,141 households.
Edit: Actually I misread the stat. Of our 341.9 million people, 1.7 million might belong to a household making above a million dollars to still be approx 0%.
Maybe Volcom and Zumiez?
“beat up,” seems to be putting it very mildly when shotguns and high-speed chases are concerned
