💯 Playing through Red Dead Redemption 2 and there is so much detail and it’s beautiful.
…but then when I’m trying to pick out herbs and plants and it’s all so beautifully rendered I don’t know what plants and flowers can be harvested and which are just there to be pretty. Dead Eye is a lifesaver for that.
That desaturated-with-highlighted-items vision is a design choice that does solve a problem even in realistic worlds – even if it’s just to show players something the character can see but is hard for the player to spot.
Dororo Based on a Manga from the '60s, the story is about a boy that has to slay a bunch of different demons to reclaim pieces of his body that were stolen from him at birth. It’s a rather silly movie, and I found it to be a fun journey.
I think the Zelda Oracle games were pretty rad. Easy games to play, and for the truly committed you had cross progression between the two games to complete quests across Seasons and Ages. The two games had completely different maps and dungeons to explore with different items in each. They were a dual release that weren’t just the same maps with slightly reshuffled enemies like the Pokémon games were. I remember trading my copy of Seasons to my friend for his copy of Ages and then checking in with each other to see where we were and if either of us had discovered any secrets that we hadn’t found in our respective playthrough.
Shit, that’s a bad look for Disney. The idea that someone could sign up for a 30-day trial to some product and completely lose their right to a jury trial for life against any and all companies associated with the parent company is absurd.
The attorney was right to describe that as preposterous. And if the court cedes and tosses the trial, it sets a chilling precedent against consumer rights.
This probably one of those fake job postings I heard about.
I would be willing to bet that it is a Ghost Job. I sympathize with that struggle. I’m sure I have applied to a couple of those recently, too.
I found that many ghost jobs stay up for a while, so what I started doing to find leads was utilize search engine operators to find recent postings. Something like:
(site:greenhouse.io | site:workday.com) after:2024-07-24 "system admin"
That should find “system admin” jobs posted on workday and greenhouse, commonly used as internal job boards, posted in the last couple of days.
You could even add more job boards to the list by using site:
between the parenthesis and separated with bars to expand your search. Or you could change the after
statement to today
to find very fresh jobs to try to find posts less than 24 hours old and be among the first applicants.
That trick (or maybe just my persistence with an overwhelming portion of luck, idk) managed to eventually get me something new, so I’m hopeful it wasn’t a fluke and it can help someone else, too.
Best of luck.
Oof. Y’all are correct about the misunderstanding. I apologize for the heated response. Being wrong kinda takes the fire out of my indignation and now I just feel foolish. Thanks for the lesson, y’all
the “do nothing congress” was miles better
This sentiment is wrong. Making some effort to correct course should be a bare minimum. Accepting the broken system as irreversibly corrupt and doing nothing about it is objectively worse than using the institutions as they are intended. Even if these impeachments go nowhere, let it excite voters to turn out.
If you show up and vote for the party that actually wants to accomplish something, here is an example of what can be done. If you want to see checks and balances in action, vote for the party that is willing to make it happen.
With all the talk of the corruption of the most powerful court in the country, here is what the process looks like to fix it.
Conversely, if you just want to lie down and allow the court to continue to tear down the other “co-equal” branches of government, and regress our rights in an overtly corrupt way, then go ahead and sit back down. Do what you seem to prefer our elected leaders do: Shut up and fuck off. Find another place to commiserate with other self defeated losers.
My mom died a decade ago, and my dad about two years ago. Neither were great, and to a certain extent, their passing left a bit of relief that I was no longer responsible for them. However, with them gone, there is no longer a chance to fix those relationships. They are both dead and my relationship with them will forever have been shitty.
It is sad to think about those times when my dad would tell me he wanted to try to be a better parent, but I’m the end, he never followed through. I don’t look back and think about how he doesn’t have any more chances to fulfill those promises, I see it that he can no longer break that promise to me that he would try.
I know that my parents would not change, they would never take responsibility for how their choices hurt others, they would always continue with their selfish behaviors, and they would never be the parent that every child deserves. Some people can’t be fixed.
I understand your feeling of relief.
Take the L, m8.
I’m literate. They clearly meant “vessel.”
I’m less convinced of either of those statements now than I was before.
Hello friend. Vassal is actually not misspelled, and is a different word from vessel. In this context, the vassal of horror would be an emissary or owner of lands of horror.
Don’t let trolls bring you down. Some people just are not happy without making someone else sad.
While I personally do appreciate the level of detail and amount of options provided in this reply, the more straightforward and longer-term solution is to eat the rich.
could hurt pedestrians and cyclists
I dare you to convince me that anyone still buying Tesla would not see that as a benefit. That’s going to be the number one selling point of this thing after articles like this make their rounds.
At every inch this moves along, I’m reminded of that one time Keanu mentioned wanting to return to a character that didn’t get enough recognition the first time around https://youtube.com/shorts/3bz543X9QYQ?si=HAE_pub-T722gvYn
Why are they censoring the truth?
Oh, that must be really embarrassing, but…
graphic images and disinformation
Maybe work on your reading comprehension to make sure you don’t embarrass yourself like that again.
Yo, remember when Disney gave EA exclusivity to Star Wars licensing, and for the duration of that exclusivity contract they rebooted one classic online multi-player shooter and then made a sequel that was one of the worst received games of the year and set the record for the highest dislike ratio on YouTube prompting Google to remove the dislike counter?
Apparently the Disney board doesn’t. Maybe someone should remind them.
Not even any tie-in games for the sequel movies, just a DLC map.
