Damn… 280-300km/hr attack speed. That’s fast enough to match a helicopter.
Range of around 30km given given the flight time as well.

That is the fruit and the yellow color indicates it might be in the process of being aborted. This happens for numerous reasons like insufficiently pollination etc.
China’s foreign policy is basically “play whatever side makes the most sense for China”.
Their pattern of behavior shows an end goal of economically dominating the planet. Fully replacing the United States and Europe.

China is also obviously looking at ways to create a military that can compete against the U.S./NATO dominance. They need some teeth to back up their economic pushes.
Mexican immigration rules from what I am seeing are very reasonable with clear processes and do not require a lawyer for most people. So you rarely hear about immigrants having issues. The entire process is relatively inexpensive as well.
To legally immigrate to the U.S. almost always requires a lawyer, the process is deliberately convoluted, and costs thousands of dollars in fees.
Applying for political asylum outside of the U.S., good luck. The burden of proof is quite high and costly. Most people will not qualify, yet…

It’s amazing what effective required driver training, intelligent road construction for saftey, and strict impaired driver consequences will do.
I lived in the U.K. for a while in my early 20’s. My U.S. license worked for the first year but after that I was required to get the UK license. Holy fuck it was hard. The written test made the U.S. one look like childsplay.
I ended up taking a driving lessons from a course while I was there. It was extremely difficult. After 10 lessons I was able to take and pass the practical exam… Barely. At that point I had been driving in the U.S. for 6 years.
I am sub-average driver in the UK and Western Europe. In the U.S. my skill level is at the elite level. It’s truly terrifying.
I’ve been around tomatoes way to much. I get a rash if I touch the plants now.
Eggplants cause severe hives like poison oak.
For those that don’t know for fresh market tomatoes.
Indeterminate tomato vines can be grown for years if they don’t freeze.
Mexico has invested heavily in greenhouses, high tunnels and thrip-proof net-houses. These allow for year round production of tomatoes. This was done with government money.
Canada has also invested heavily in greenhouses to grow tomatoes and produce them year round. This was also done with government money.
Meanwhile the U.S. focused on open field machine harvested sauce tomatoes controlled by massive corporations. There are still some U.S. tomato growers that rely almost 100% on immigrant labor. In general they produce 1/10th the tonnage per acre at higher cost even with the cheap labor.
If only the dumbfucks with the stupid slogans like “love it or leave it” knew just how difficult and costly it is to legally move to another country. Unless you have money, work in a high demand job or have family connections it’s fucking difficult or close to impossible to do.
Most of the dumbfucks have no way to legally move to any other country legally.
Inflation caused by corporate greed kills people’s ability to take vacations for some reason.
It’s a storm runoff ditch. They are about 20-30cm wide and 0.5-1m deep.
Gotta pay attention when walking around them.
I know several people with dual citizenship Canadian/U.S. who have moved from the U.S. to Canada in the past several months.
I just figured out a path for me to gain Mexican permanent resident and eventually Mexican citizenship if needed. It will take some time but with how this country is going, My wife and I need an escape route.
Yes, I learned most of the fire starting methods. My grandfather used to run a pack train into some very remote areas in Montana.
Of course the method I stick with is a little more effective. I carry a little bottle of lamp oil with me when I go into the back country. It always lights up quickly no matter the conditions. Only takes a little bit to start a fire so a small bottle can last for a few weeks.
They both track
Older people (often with mobility issues from a sedentary lifestyle) obviously would object to more walking. Ironically more pedestrian areas forcing them to walk more would help decrease the number of them with mobility issues.
Lower income people see the argument as a waste of time that rich people worry about. They are too pre-occupied with trying to survive. They also consider the inconvenience of longer commute times if they work in the area. The extra 15 minutes walking time for their shifts at multiple jobs is a killer.
Hmmm… Did we have the same parents?
Apparently why I haven’t spoken to them or seen them in over a decade is a mystery. The next time I see them will be when they are in their graves. I’ll have my dancing shoes on.
The packer is from the Imperial Valley in California (the very southern portion). They have producers in both Mexico and the U.S. (some of the same farmers grow on both sides of the border).
It’s common to get a mixed load from two countries.
50%…
Quick math - minus inflation, I am getting around 90% off.
Reality:
Prices go up for imported goods driving down demand for all goods both domestic and imported.
Retaliatory tariffs, increased cost of resources, and most destructively changes to purchasing behaviors drive down exports and kill domestic production further. These are long term effects as well. As competitive countries fill the niche left from the fucking idiot country who decided to shit on their own market.
For 7 years after left my parents place my only form of transportation was a bike. I rode all through college and my first job.
Toward the end I could do 40-50 miles a day and not even think about it. I think my record was 75 miles in a day.
After a 20 year break I pulled my old bike out to ride 2 miles mostly downhill one evening. Holy shit I was sore. I could hardly move the pedals in my old cruising gear.
According the WHO in 2021
