MAGA are feral animals, and they are incapable of strategic planning past step one.
Agreed. Which makes it really embarrassing that they’ve been allowed to win. MAGA didn’t succeed because they’re a bunch of evil masterminds that managed to outwit the system; they succeeded because the people who’ve assumed the job of opposing them have dropped the ball completely. This should prompt some examination of tactics and messages, but whenever you even suggest that sort of thing people start screeching about “unity” and “solidarity.”

The United States government is made of three co-equal branches, with one of those branches being responsible for appointing the members of one of the others and able to veto the decisions of the third.
