    Do you think it’s another trap? Like, a “pressure release valve” to pacify us? Or is it inspiring people and getting them thinking about resistance?

      I personally think most people in the west are far too alienated and bought off to consider any kind of resistance. I think you really need the intersection of having community and things getting worse economically for that to happen. I think young people are much more class conscience and want to see class consciousness reflected in their media, but for a lot of people who engage with that media the most it would influence them to do is vote for a Bernie or Zohran style progressive candidate and maybe show up to a protest.
