why does the exterior door open outwards with the hinges on the outside
I noticed that too, but the shadows in this are what’s really bothering me (ignoring the uncanny valley aspect I guess). The doorknob, woman, and pictures on the wall are all casting shadows from a point light source directly below the inside of the door just out of frame despite it being a very bright sunny day outside.
I’m always into paintings that are photorealistic like this, takes a lot of skill.
