    I always wonder, how did the algorithm get like this?

    is there really that strong of a correlation between users engaging in one of these and then suddenly proceeding to only ever want to engage with this kind of content? Has it been trained by bot farms boosting this kind of content artificially? Or, is there someone at the company who’s put their finger on the scale?

      I think it’s the algorithm accurately determining which advertisement slot you fit into better than all the other slots.

      There’s probably a good deal of evidence that one small snowball is enough to turn a significant portion of listeners into MAGA or die listeners. The algorithm is just skipping all the middle stuff of “i’m just starting to question…”
