They did have the option to host a dedicated server since the day it came out, for Steam users at least (Xbox Game Pass people are out of luck, but that goes back to the first point about “trying” Palworld first).
Official servers was a mistake. Should’ve let people host their own dedicated until full release at the very least.
Also who buys a survival crafter to jump on official servers right away? Savages, that’s who.

It launched with a functional dedicated server. It also has official servers and local coop servers.
I think they mean instead of both.
I don’t understand. Are you suggesting a company sell an online-only game and provide no way to play online?
