These events have been very convenient for the imperatives of capital as MAGA has absorbed the American imagination of what a contemporary Nazi looks like. Remember, most opposition to this admin has come from state-level reps and courts, there is a good reason federal Dems have been cooperative. Fascism in the US will sustain itself on the supposed legitimacy of the Democratic Party. As always, liberals are the real threat and they will adopt fascist policies and tactics if they feel threatened, and they have loudly admitted for years that they are terrified at the popularity of socialism and decolonialism in the twenty-first century.
