I was the men’s conversation I want to see, by challenging negative content. It was removed on grounds 3 and 4.
“Build upon content in the original post”. If the post does not fit in with the sub, we cannot follow rule 3 without challenging it. By deleting the challenge, you are preventing us following rule 3. I understand moderation, but this is too heavy handed, and you’re just pushing people away. Is this supposed to be a community, or a mod pinboard that consumers respond to?
If I crosspost from reddit, from a subreddit not related to this content, it would rightly be removed, and I think relevance is important. Which it is described as a feminist community, it is about men’s lib and should be relevant to that.
Be proactive in forming a productive discussion. Constructive criticism of our community is fine, but if you mainly criticize our approach, feminism, or other people’s efforts to solve gender issues, your post/comment will be removed.
Regardless rule 4 provides plenty of justification for removing these posts. Your argument seems to be that the topic “How the patriarchy contributes to climate chaos” is inappropriate for this community. If that is the case I think you have deeply misunderstood what this community is for. If you are otherwise taking offense to the title of the video I would like to point you to our stance on clickbait titles. In this case I have already editorialized the title to be more reflective of the video’s content. If you are very concerned by a lack of positive masculinity stories I think you should consider posting some, but I caution you not to include these sorts of criticisms about unrelated posts as that would violate rule 3.

Rule 3 is longer than that. It also states:
