WotC sucks but a lot of the community is cool. The Professor is a really good dude and helps to foster the good side of the community.
Most people play Commander these days which I don’t think is very fun, but if it’s your kind of thing you can play it without giving WotC any money at all since most people are totally cool with ‘fake’ cards in commander.
I mean, the trans community is one of their most dedicated customer bases, every Magic shop around here has at least one trans employee. This self-serving for them, but it is nice to see them actually defend their customer bases rather than cower to a vocal chud minority who doesn’t spend nearly as much.
