It’s been a little over one month since new gun safety laws were implemented in the state of Michigan: Safe storage, universal background checks, and extreme risk protection orders — the latter better known as the “red flag law.” How’s it going?
In other words, 35 Michiganders have had their constitutional rights violated without due process.
I’m not property of the government, why should the government suspend my rights to “protect” me from myself?
There’s a rule-breaking quip with which I could respond, but…I won’t.
Instead, I’ll just say, please stop functionally supporting potential criminals with firearms.
“Potential criminals”, they’re also known as innocent people. What is this, minority report?
