This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry, according to the state agency TASS.

“There was no impact on the aircraft. The preliminary cause of the disaster is a technical malfunction,” the department said.

Of the 29 victims, six were crew members, and the rest were passengers. It is claimed that the aircraft crashed during a scheduled flight.
