    Not sure why you got down voted, it’s a legitimate question. I don’t think the police enforce traffic laws in parking lots, outside of handicapped spots and fire lanes. Even then, they probably won’t respond unless a building tenant calls them.

      In France, the “traffic code” applies everywhere, even in parking lots where you have to drive on the right side, stop at the stop sign, and park where it’s allowed. I guess it’s equivalent in the USA or other countries.

        It’s the same in Australia. Road rules apply on the road and “road related areas”, including your own driveway
