Jihad is simply one example of my point. Some focus on the lesser, others on the greater.

Did you know that the Bible also at times views incest as appropriate, or that women menstruating are “unclean” and must be secluded, or that wearing clothes made from two fabrics is a sin? Do all Christians abide by these teachings, or do they interpret these and similar ones differently based on their own sect or individual basis?

You cannot blame all Muslims for the violent actions of a few anymore than you can blame some Christians for misinterpreting their religion.

You know what you can do, though? Blame all white supremacists for being racist pieces of shit. That’s why it’s an apples and oranges comparison to make. If you disagree, name one white supremacist who isn’t a racist and I’ll shut up.

You won’t though, because there aren’t any. Instead you’re just going to deflect again, insult or mock me or accuse me of still not getting it. I really don’t care. I’ll continue asserting that all white supremacists are racists because that’s what white supremacy is, and that that’s a terrible comparison to make that point with because it is.

Someone else in another comment mentioned something yesterday about “1 in 10 nazis being good guys”. Why are so many people in this community more ok with racist pieces of shit with a track record of killing millions of other people because it’s inherent to their belief system to one sect of one religion that most members don’t even belong to or believe?

The difference nobody here seems to understand is white supremacists have to be racist. It’s in the name. Muslims do not have to interpret Jihad in a violent context. In fact, the people who interpret Jihad in a violent context is mostly non-Muslim societies, so this just tells me you don’t actually understand the point you’re trying to make.
