It became extremely slow after a few months that it was unusable. Turned out it was a widespread issue. It was a design flaw that could not be fixed via software update: https://xdaforums.com/t/2012-nexus-7-so-slow-its-almost-unusable.3007369/ Two decades later, Google still release defective hardware without proper testing during the design phase.
