Has there been any evidence that they understood things like generating lift? I’d have guessed that came WAY later. Or is this a drawing of some kind of paddle or something that has nothing to do with flight?

So I assume the one you’re referencing is holding the winner’s sceptor for some kind of games this is possibly referencing.
