Confusing. Seems like whoever created it is trying to criticize one person in particular or something.
It’s like ⅓ Stavros
First of all, many millennials have been going through a continuous early midlife crisis ever since their early 20s.
Second, in my experience, only the parts about drugs and irony are accurate. And maybe the Hawaiian shirts, but that’s mostly only for fat guys.
I bought a Hawaiian shirt as a joke for an outdoor party.
I now own about 7. They’re light and breathable and look cool.
Wait, what’s wrong with loud loose fitting floral print shirts? It’s fucking hot out and only getting hotter. Better than some t-shirt and not totally giving up like a polo shirt. I’ve been wearing them unironically ever since dial-up internet and ska were still super popular. Never noticed any relative weight difference in other people wearing them.
Nothing wrong with them, it’s just that I have never met someone who wore them and wasn’t fat. That might just be my particular experience however.
It also doesn’t mean they’re bad people. The one particular guy I can think about who loves to wear them is otherwise an all around great dude and a very talented hobby DJ who throws great parties, often at his own expense. The Hawaii shirt is basically part of his brand.
I used to wear them when I was 25.
Now, just 15 years later, I’m fat.
Should’ve known…Seriously? The exact look described in this meme is super popular. At least, it is here in the UK. It’s what hipsters evolved into, I think.
I don’t live in the UK, and I don’t go out very much 🤷🏻♂️
Aloha shirts are just in style now. As someone with a tiki bar, this has been an absolute win for me
Damn. Right place, right time for you!
Not particoularly accurate, it doesn’t ring a bell, it may apply to a specific demographic.
I knew I didn’t need therapy, I’ve only got a few of these. Follow me for more money saving tips. 🚀
acts bored or uninterested or is because i might be part millenial. the ennui of these modern times is stifling. its like the slowest titanic ever.
Millenials are going through regular-age midlife crisis now.
The “Kill in Minecraft” is not safe. Here a funny case in which it backfired.
I’m trying hard how to figure out how to be easily triggered by this meme, virtue signal about it on behalf of some group that needs my help in particular…all while pretending to be ironic and apathetic and above it all.
“I feel called out, but can’t we just let people like what they like?”
All the mid life crisis millennials I know just talk about living in a van for a year but don’t actually do it.
Controversial, but it is what I mostly meet: people with tattoos have low self esteem.
It is definitely controversial to talk about, but studies correlate them with increased mental health issues, risk taking behavior, previous jail time, substance abuse, and more.
Of course it’s not that the tattoos cause these things, but people who fall under one or more of the categories above are significantly more likely to have them.
