minus-squarelud@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoAs snazzy labs pointed out, the new SOC is called A17 PRO which probably means that next year the baseline models will not get that chip. They will probably get just the A17 sans pro, I have a large suspicion that USB 3.X will be exclusive to the pro chips. It’s all speculation but it would be a very Apple like thing to do.
