I would advise strongly separating Harry Potter from J.K. Rowling or you’re going to be buried in anti-trans and TERF based hate.
This seems like an addressable issue. Most HP communities these days usually have a “We condemn JKR’s transphobia” note pinned somewhere. Authors are not synonymous with their published works, and I think most people understand that.
Yup, but we saw how that worked out with the Hogwarts game… there were still issues. :(
