Can’t we mourn the loss of a furry friend without bringing up immigration? I have lost so much faith in humanity. Nothing is pure and sacred anymore.
I thought peanut the squirrel was political from the getgo. Granted the first I heard of his killing was from alt right pro cop propaganda (ironically) I did hear his owner was also vocally alt right and dressed the squirrel in some costumes that supported some of his views. I could be wrong, do correct me if so
I feel so sad for that guy and his squirrel and raccoon friends.
Honestly I feel bad for the poor animals. But the guy? For 7 full years he couldn’t be bothered to get the proper paperwork and licenses to own them? Didn’t get them properly vaccinated and/or treated due to no paperwork. If he’d done right, this wouldn’t have happened. But he’s playing the victim when he’s got the most blame on his shoulders.

Right there with you.
Some people are so empty they need crap like politics or reality TV to feel something.
And then there’s the truly sad bunch that can’t live without social media.
For those that missed… Yes I’m joking
Just to be clear here, nothing has ever been pure or sacred. We’re only told that as children.
You take that back, Peanut was pure and sacred!
I refuse. You’re not my real mom!
I think its more a comment about having the police resources to go kill some guys squirrel but not deal with other shit. But at the end of the day its one squirrel the Superbowl kills 4billion chickens just for wings.
Superb Owls kill squirrels too. Not just chickens.
Is it bad that I can’t tell whether 4 billion chickens is an exaggeration?
https://www.nationalchickencouncil.org/americans-to-eat-1-45-billion-chicken-wings-for-the-big-game/
according to the National chicken council (glad I get to say that), that isn’t exaggeration.
Americans are eating 1.4 billion wings, and there are a few hundred million people all making individual grocery decisions; there’s not some big super Bowl robot that goes around murdering chickens, regardless of how cool an episode of Aqua teen hunger Force that would be.
I can’t seem to find The National Chicken Council’s 2024 Wing Report to view how they counted a wing. The wing of a chicken consists of 2 muscle groups which are usually divided and sold as ‘wings.’ Each chicken would (usually) have 4 such wings; meaning it’s only 362.5 million chickens. Even if they’re counting whole wings it’s only 725 million chickens. 4 billion does seem to be an exaggeration.
The fucking national chicken council. Whats the council president called? chief cock?
