You’ve basically written most if not everything I was going to say this week. I really liked the Tamagami and my slight disappointment about his loss was instantly overshadowed by my interest in the new Majin. Just taking a wild guess, he’s going to absorb all the life energy collected by the Gendarmerie.
Wasn’t the most recent version about Buu that he was some kind of force of nature and Bibidi just kinda found him?

I don’t recall Bibidi just finding him, but with as much as they have been changing that wouldn’t surprise me.

I’ve looked it up and apparently Toriyama did say something along those lines, but only in an interview. The actual anime and manga both say Bibidi created him.
