Hey yall

I am about to buy a 55 inch 4K Gaming TV (LG C4) and want to use my monster PC (4090, etc) to play on my

big TV while I sit in the recliner.

I just ordered the standard XBOX Series X controller to use in my recliner. My plan is to connect the XBOX controller via a dongle to the PC. Then, while sitting in the recliner and playing a game like Dragon’s Dogma 2, I will have a wireless keyboard/mouse (mouse on the recliner arm) and also my wireless XBOX controller, all of which are hooked to the PC via a dongle, and I am then using the big awesome LG C4 4K TV as the computer monitor, sitting about 6-7 feet away.

I want to be able to use a combo of keyboard/mouse AND XBOX controller when playing an action game like

Dragon’s Dogma 2. I suck at moving in a game like that with the keyboard and mouse, but I suck at things like inventory management with the controller. So, the idea is to use a combo of all 3 as are most convenient at various moments. I know basically all games now support either a mouse/keyboard OR controller, but not sure how many support using all 3 simultaneously.

  1. Will that above idea work in general?
  2. I got the standard XBOX core wireless controller from Microsoft. What is the least latency and most stable way to wirelessly connect that XBOX controller to my PC? Exactly what do i need to get?
  3. Will I be able to use a combo of the mouse/keyboard AND controller simultaneously in AAA games like Dragon’s Dogma 2? Or is that ability limited to just a handful of games?
  4. I am looking at the ways to connect the computer (display port) to the LG TV, and I would assume I just use a DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 adaptor that has a long enough cord. Right?

Thanks!

Randy
