If at the very least we(sterners) offered an alternative territory for palestinians(, with a lot of money, promises to lift sanctions, stop interfering in the Middle-East, etc.), then we could start negotiations, but we’re not offering them anything, they simply have to accept their unilateral loss, that’s not just.

Have to say I’m quite surprised that there are 5.1m Palestinians in Palestine considering how many had to leave. The popular narrative (even the pro-Palestinian one) gives the impression of a much smaller population.

They certainly have a small territory though, but the Gaza strip is (one of )the most densely populated region in the world(, 6.500 inhabitants per km2, compared with Hong-Kong’s 6750).
According to wikipedia, there’s a sharp decrease in fertility(, from 7.8 in 1950 to 7 in 1984, then 6 in 1996, 5 in 2003, 4 in 2015, and currently below 3.5), so i don’t want to sound pessimistic but it won’t last, since Israel’s fertility rate apparently stayed around 5-6 since 1950. Everyone’s encouraged to leave but nobody’s allowed to enter, the only migrants come stealthily(, Eva Bartlett comes to mind).
This interesting article says, among other things worth reading, that the number of palestinian refugees is 6.4M.
