I don’t think I’ve made a post on here about food, so here goes! 😃
I’ll go first…I just love eating uncooked pasta. It has such a satisfying crunch and the tomato pasta and wholewheat pasta are my faves! This has been a habit that I’ve had ever since I’ve had teeth and people are always surprised that I haven’t damaged my teeth doing this. I enjoy pasta cooked too!
Marmite.
I love natto. Which isn’t that weird IMO, but people sure seem to think it is.
Even when I lived in Japan for a little bit, people there would be like “a GAIJIN that likes NATTO!?” Sure, it’s stinky, but yum.
Durian.
Imho it tastes kinda like a threeway between pineapple, jackfruit, and garlic.
Fermented crab. That lao crab, papaya, and chilli salad is one of my guilty pleasures.
Small fried river fishes. They’re eaten whole and a bit crunchy.
Pineapple pizza iff it’s extra spicy.
Sea urchin, lobster roe.
mm yeah. I like sea urchin too. and raw oysters. Both of them, if they’re fresh, just have that flavor/feel like you’re consuming and becoming one with OCEAN
Lasagnchiladas.
Layer of lasagna, layer of enchilada, keep stacking until baking dish is full.
It’s a bit more work since you’re making two whole dishes but it’s the one thing that such from Epic Mealtime inspired experiments.
Velveeta cheese and apple casserole.

It’s so fucking good.
Pork rinds seem to gross out some people.
Lime pickles. They’re delicious, I can’t get through a jar on my own but I’ll get no help.
Must have with my veggi dahl.
I’ve never tried or even heard of lime ones, but it makes sense to me because the half-sours with garlic and lemon are divine.
The Curry Guy has a recepie as jumping off point. I don’t know about local brands to you, but Patak’s is a staple here, their hot lime pickle is what got me onto the concept. I still get a jar every now and then, but the flavours are the intense kind that I get bored of and forget about, till the jar goes moldy.
So when I buy one, I kinda force myself through the last third. On bread, off a spoon, on pasta, some ungodly creations I swear.
I agree!! Crunchy uncooked spaghetti or lasagne sheet is a forbidden treat! I do rather enjoy it despite it being “horrifying”
My other nomination is Cheese and Jam sandwiches (jelly for americans) - a little savoury squish with my sweet is just lovely!
Love uncooked wholewheat spaghetti! You can easily select a given diameter and it’s easy to eat. I think the wholewheat version has this nice earthy flavour and it’s a little more brittle than normal pasta. Craving some right now!
Woof! Wholewheat is classy, and a little snap never hurt anyone! The fact I’m not alone makes me very happy 😅
Peanut butter or yellow mustard are viable pretzel/chip dips
When i was a kid i would wolf down peanut butter filled pretzels and glacier freeze Gatorade. I thought it was a good pairing.
A nice brown mustard on a hard pretzel is heaven.
Pretty sure they’re trolling. I love frying beef bologna in butter until the edges start getting dark/crunchy. Underrated meat candy. But it has to be beef, just like with hot dogs.
Absolutely troll. Pic made my fiance gag, had to share it.
Oh no…
cum
PB&J with mint jelly. For some reason people find the mint really weird
Is this like mint sauce you’d put on lamb? Peanut butter is allergy death, but mint and strawberry interests me!
Peanut butter is allergy death,
Just out of curiosity, can you do any of the alternatives? Sunflower, cashew, almond, pistachio, pecan?
Spaghetti with bread
My entire family eats spaghetti with bread, everyone else finds it weird
I also eat fries with bread, mamaliga with bread, and bread with bread
The kids used to insist on spaghetti tacos, back in the iCarly days…
Do you mean like garlic bread? I’m into that. Isn’t everyone? Am I a kinky freak for once!?
Not me but on The German cannabis community (C/cannabis@feddit.org) we recently had a post of someone eating yogurette (chocolate with fruits) with mustard while being high. It also included a rating of different mustard variations and how well they work for this.
Salt and Vinegar Chips
Britain’s favourite crisp flavour. Here, you’re weird for not liking them.
Who tf thinks salt and vinegar, which is objectively the best chip, is weird?
The only thing I don’t like about eating them is they have a tendency of eating back
