Is this any different than the people that are blaming Trump for things that he couldn’t possibly have had any effect on yet? Like that accident between the Blackhawk and the airliner? I saw countless people blaming Trump for that one.

People do this every election cycle. They blame anything new they hate on the guy that just started and the think everything good that’s happening is just residual goodness from the previous guy. We saw it with Dems when Obama took over from Bush and we saw it from the Republicans when Trump took over from Obama.

Both parties pull this stupid shit every single goddamn time.

        No.

If the principal of the school is fired all the teachers that worked under them don’t forget how to teach kids the next day.

Besides he took office January 20th and the crash happened on the 29th. He didn’t start firing FAA staff until early February I believe.

threats to federal workers across the entire government - ‘you have 10 days to turn in your colleagues or else you’re fired’ - went out January 20th. Remote workers were threatened with firings the day or so after. people currently being hired but not yet finalized were given notice the same week, and people hired but on probationary status (doesn’t mean what youre thinking it’s just a designation for people in good standing who haven’t secured permanent position) - were told to fuck right off around January 23rd.

the amount of chaos and fear generated in the first week alone was staggering. but you’re right, the actual FIRINGS took a couple more days. the threats came IMMEDIATELY.

not saying it caused the crash entirely, but there’s reasonable evidence the administration at least contributed to the high levels of stress ATCs already experience. especially since they’re nationally short staffed from retirements linked to Reagan.

better question is, why the fuck should military helicopters be doing exercises right the fuck beneath flight paths of commercial airlines? there’s literally thousands of military bases where they can pRaCTiCe and do military shit. gtfo civilian air space.

Yes, cause and effect. Or for every action there’s a reaction. Letting go critical roles of the FAA and air traffic controller is a result of this. Then there’s the aftermath of Musk trying to hire for the same positions to retirees at a lower cost. Government positions are already penny pushing and short handed. It’s the same as a big box retail store with a skeleton crew. We wonder where the employees are. Everything takes a village and we were always short with not enough support.

Just blatantly incorrect. All the information for the dates of the different events is public information. That crash had nothing to do with Trump.

Stop pushing a categorically false narrative. You guys harp on the right for pulling shit like that all the time. Be better than the Trumpets.
