And if everyone drove 10 mph there’d be even fewer collisions. It’s never going to be zero collisions, may as well let people try to get where they are going.
Suspect that the real plan here is make it 50, so people do 60 (instead of doing 70 when it’s 60).

It’s not absolute speed that’s the killer. It’s relative speed. You want safer roads, get more serious about training, licenses and enforcement.
