In fact, no one can actually be “banned from Lemmy,” because of the fediverse. If one were banned from an instance, they can just hop on to another instance.

I’ve never been banned from Lemmy and I don’t know anyone who has, because that can’t happen. One of the reasons Lemmy is so great.
