The part where the centrists and left were unified and formed a government in the Weimar Republic. The part where that happened three times consecutively and they didn’t alienate enough people and lost to the Nazi party on the fourth signalling the end of said Weimar Republic.

Politeness and Manners could have honestly averted the entirety of Nazi Germany if people just voted for or with the social democrats, the SPD, who were the only party to vote against the Enabling Act of 1933.
And clearly we’ve all learned fuck all as far as these lessons go.
