Over the years it’s become tougher and tougher to find good sources of information for popular games with gaming journalism websites having a lot of SEO. The Fextralife wiki is garbage and was garbage for other games I’ve played before too.

Note: This reply is a joke only. No useful information is presented within. I was just triggered by the mention of games journalism articles with good SEO that say in 5 paragraphs what could be said in 5 words or even worse, say nothing at all.

Trying to find the best wiki for your favourite game can be a challenge, and Baldur’s Gate 3 is no exception. Coming out of early access on August 3rd this year, Baldur’s Gate 3’s popularity has taken gamers by storm and many of them are wondering what the best Baldur’s Gate 3 wiki resource is. This article will break down some of the best Baldur’s Gate 3 wiki resources available. So without further ado, let’s dive in!

First and foremost, it’s essential to understand the significance of the number 3. Historically, three has always been a mystical and powerful number. Think about it: The Three Musketeers, the three primary colors, the three little pigs, and now… Baldur’s Gate 3. Coincidence? Probably. But the number three’s rich history could play a monumental role in our wiki selection process. Or not.

Now, to the crux of wikis and their role. Wikis, named after the rapid transit buses in Hawaii called the “Wiki Wiki Shuttle,” are meant to transport information quickly. However, much like waiting for a bus during rush hour, finding the right Baldur’s Gate 3 wiki can be a waiting game. You’ll want one that’s fast, reliable, and doesn’t leave you stranded in a torrential downpour of misinformation.

One might wonder, “How did players of yesteryears, like those of the original Baldur’s Gate, find their way without wikis?” They probably used things called forums, or maybe they had to rely on word-of-mouth, or even - heaven forbid - trial and error! The hardships! This diversion into gaming history just goes to show how spoiled modern gamers are with their plethora of digital resources.

Returning to the matter at hand, when seeking the best Baldur’s Gate 3 wiki, consider the aesthetics. The game itself is a visual marvel, so shouldn’t the ideal wiki be just as visually pleasing? Think deep fonts, medieval motifs, and perhaps an occasional animated flaming sword. Though this has nothing to do with the quality of information, it does add a certain je ne sais quoi.

In summation, while we’ve explored the vast terrains of wiki-related trivia, the question of the best Baldur’s Gate 3 wiki remains, mysteriously, unanswered. But isn’t the journey often more enlightening than the destination? Happy non-specific wiki hunting, dear readers! And remember, sometimes the real wiki is the friends we made along the way.

No clue. So far Ive had the best luck by just searching the question I’m looking to have answered, and I quciksave a lot. Try that instead of the normal wiki dive you’d do with something like dark souls or witcher. If it’s quest or character related, neoseeker usually has really good, zero fluff, walk throughs.

Yeah I quicksave a lot too. I went near a group of goblins and the narrator was like “you were warned to stay away” um, no, literally no one told me to stay away, what are you talking about.

Not sure how to tag spoilers so I’ll keep it very vague but don’t read more of you’re not at least level four and have explored most of the accessible map to that point. Anyway there’s a fight in the first act where a VERY BOSS-LIKE creature is supposed to allow you to take control of him, help in the fight and middle his health down and THEN be killed.

First time he doesn’t say anything til halfway through beating me to a pulp and then after I successfully take control of him he STILL KEEPS AGGRO on me and does absolutely nothing. Still almost managed to beat him, died after getting him down to one health and getting critically hit on his last attack - thems the breaks.

I re-load, reposition and strategize for the fight, do much better and this time…he never says anything or prompts any dialogue* even though I specifically avoided aggroing or doing any damage to him whatsoever. Managed to beat his ass anyway, but still…the game (while great fun) is glitchy and so far many encounters don’t go the way they’re supposed to.
