Read the comic. It was beautiful. I’m not good at reading so I never furiously googled anything but in my head george had wood teeth. I swear I saw them at the ben franklin institute in jersey. Maybe those were ben franklins. Either way. My mind is protecting the idea of wood teeth for some reason.

One thing I will say is I’m really happy with my ability to take in new information. I think about all the trans stuff and how kid me would probably furiously reject the notion that a transition is possible. Now, though, when I see examples of it I’m so glad I can just love those people as they are. It’s really hard to be hateful.
People, fortunately, can learn to be accepting. We know it because we exist. Still, bias towards “your people” is an evolutionary adaptation our brains have by default, so I’m not surprised a lot of people don’t grow out of it.
