And billionaire Trump donor Elon Musk – who is overseeing the administration’s controversial effort to rapidly shrink the federal government – has criticized ActBlue, seeking to tie it to protests and acts of vandalism against his electric-vehicle company Tesla. He has argued, without evidence to substantiate his claims, that some prominent Democrats – including one who died in 2019 – were funding ActBlue and the protests.
“Something stinks about ActBlue,” Musk posted earlier this month on his social media platform, X.
This is the latest email the Harris team sent out. I have no idea why they think Trump et al would ever be “impressed” by any number.

I mean. Fundraising is fundraising. Have you ever been around it? It’s weird. I don’t understand it. But I do understand what Ketamine Elmo is trying to do.
Yeah, he’s trying to declare any fundraising done by democrats as “fraud.” What I’m saying is that Kamala and the DNC are once again completely out of touch, thinking the original rules are still in place and we’re playing the same game we were 10 or 20 years ago. They could raise all the money in the world and it would not matter. The bigger the number, the louder Elon will yell fraud. Reality doesn’t exist anymore.
I don’t disagree, but fundraising emails are emails they send all the time to raise funds. They do it on a train, they do it on a plane, they do it here and there, they do it everywhere. That by itself isn’t really remarkable that they’re asking for money and the reason of the day is “let’s show trump whatever whatever”. I don’t think that proves much.
The fact that only AOC and Bernie have made waves by holding rallies to specifically say “let’s stop this bullshit” is what’s damning the rest of them. If Harris wants another bite, she’s going to need to lead that soon and well.
Actually, for that matter - ANYONE is going to need to lead that soon and well, and it can’t be Bernie because he said it isn’t. If it’s AOC, great, let’s see some support for her.
