It’s the same on Strava. It’s both useless and annoying. FFS I’m not trying to get some engagement from a glorified excel sheet, I just want to know how fast senility is creeping over me

👏 well done drolex, you’ve posted yet another low-quality comment to the diverse audience of degenerates on lemmy. Let’s see what they have to say 👂

I’ve never bothered paying for Strava, because I pay a premium for this damn watch and up until now that premium has come with the promise that I don’t need to pay anything more until I decide I need a new watch. This is like…the worst of both worlds.

So just as i expected… Just LLM nonsense same as strava…

Strava: “Looks like your run was a slower pace than usual!”

No shit! It’s my sunday long run! Stop wasting my time with this utter wank

I like some of their existing (pre-LLM) tech analysing your efforts across the week or whatever. But it is frustrating when taking a slow Sunday long run causes it to drop my VO2 Max more than if I just didn’t run at all.

None of that was AI/ML/LLM or whatever… Training load and all those weekly effort metrics are just mathematical models from published exercise science papers
