Grabbed this server for AU$400 (~US$250) with the following specs:
- 4U Supermicro pedestal case with redundant 1280W PSUs and 8 x 3.5" hot swapable disk sleds (no drives)
- Intel Xeon Bronze 3106 Processor 8-core 1.70GHz 11.00MB cache CPU
- Supermicro MB-X11SPL-F motherboard
- 4 x Samsung M393A2K40CB2-CVF 16GB DDR4 2933MHz ECC RDIMM (total 64GB)
- Broadcom MegaRAID 9361-8i SAS 8-port 12GB/s 2GB cache RAID card
Was this a good deal? It will be replacing my old Intel SC2600CP2 with a E5-2680v2. Have also bought a cheap Xeon Gold 6138 and another 2 sticks of ram. Hoping i have some rails that will fit it, too.
