Are you using the radar to check which station needs resources?
Are you using the radar to check which station needs resources?
Ah nice, I have yet to try out the new radar signal stuff. But am equally exited to test all my theories in the weekend!
I don’t have 24 free hours, but damn if iam going to try to spend them all on Factorio anyway!
Trains is also one of my favorite aspects of the game!
I also made the parametrized train stations first and the variable to for stack sizes is so nice!
I also tried making a schedule with only interrupts for all trains. But that don’t really works because the trains always just goes to the closest outpost. But I have been thinking if I connect every train stop to a radar. I can also check demand for a specific resource before I enable the stop
And for my mall, I thought about making a single fluid train stop for all fluids. Because pumps can have a filter now, so maybe it can work, haven’t tried it tho
I have way less time to play than I would have liked haha
But currently still on navius, mostly just setting up train stations and testing the new interrupt systems and making new train blue prints
Iam using mint, because it seemed like a good “beginner” distro
I jumped ship a month ago. Never really used Linux outside of some small school projects.
And my god have I had lots of issues with stuff that didn’t work or it was missing some packages that I had no idea how to get.
I have a colleague that have used Linux for +10-20 years. So having somebody to ask for help is very valuable!
But all the games I normally play is working so I don’t regret jumping ship.
Not that iam even close to the ending. But some day we of course should be able to talk about it. But what is the embargo time? A month? 6 months? 12 months?
Yeah I saw that! I really liked it. But I can also see they removed the other 2 “trailers” on the steam page. So I guess they weren’t “trailers” after all
And now steam only says 5 hours till release!!! Iam so hyped!
Okay you’re just trolling.
There is no alternative that can do the same
Yes that is reworked aswell!
Well if you dont know much you can of course read all the Friday facts. But you could also just jump in s find out all the new cool stuff for your self!
I know some YouTubers have done some “Review” of most new stuff in the DLC and in Factorio 2.0 (Xterminator is one example I know of)
But to give some examples of why I am excited:
And last but not least (maybe this one Iam the most exited to try out)
True I’m not watching anyone play, I just want to find out myself.
Also I know this isn’t a pay 20$ ekstra and play 3 days early. But it just has that “vibe”. And every game is doing that now a days, and it’s just getting kind of annoying
That’s also what iam telling myself, but still. I just wanna play it. And everywhere om YouTube and twitch I get teased that people are playing.
Iam constantly thinking about all the stuff I want to build, and it’s not making it easier seeing so many are playing right now haha
I haven’t played RCT so not sure how I compares.
But Factorio is first of, a sandbox game. You can build however you want in your own tempo. Not sure what you mean by finicky?
But I don’t think it’s tedious micromanagement at all. it feels super good when you build something new and it works. And there is so many technologies and it’s jus fun exploring how everything works together and coming up with new designs!
There is also enemies, but can be turned off if you just want to focus on building a Factory. I mostly play with them, building up defences and killboxes and making automated train supply that comes with ammo, wall, etc.
It has a demo you can try out. It’s scenarios so you try out different base mechanics in the game. But the actual game is a sandbox game.
Got 2 friends that plays But they both have pretty busy lifes, so not sure how often we’re playing together. But we are starting a server at launch!
Finally the last planet is revealed!
Oh boy I can’t wait to use that rail gun!
I certainly hope so!
Well only 11 days until we found out
I want your factory in my head.
Hmmm I might be playing too much Factorio…
