Because, while it’s true we see less smokers in movies, it’s the first time i hear US having a anti-smoking culture… Note that I include drugs like weed in the smoking culture and we heard a lot from it recently. And only from US.

On my country, since the 90’, it’s forbiden to smoke in public place, in the office, etc. They also increased a lot it’s price bia taxes, put labels on the packaging and the amount of smokers reduced a lot since. But hollywood still represent us as smoker ^^

If don’t have a video editor in mind, look for davinci resolve, it’s free and a very good tool.

Or, if can’t avoid it, use it but you cut the wifi and other crap and connect your own router on it.

I use the Turris Omnia since a good decade now, still supported, open source based, i can put some services on it (vpn, ssh, nas, speedtest, …), put some traffic rules / ports redirection, firewall, dns, hostname/ip per mac address, pihole, wifi conf, etc…

If i switch to another ISP, I change the box and everything rework quickly…

Je fais pareil, tape sur poche gauche (clé voiture, papiers), côté droit (badge) et téléphone dans la main. Checklist ok, je peux bouger.

Reposer systématique clé, papiers, badge dans les même poches de mon sac à dos en rentrant, comme ça le matin je fait le contraire sans stress ou recherche de dernière minute… Et ce sac à dos, je le prend en vacances comme ça je perd pas les habitudes.

A noter que pour les papiers, j’ai trouvé un combo carte identite (ancien format), cartes bancaire, carte vitale, billets, permis de conduire (nouveau format), etc assez pratique et solide qui tient dans la poche. Comme je voyage pour le bureau assez souvent et prend l’avion régulièrement, j’ai le principal sur moi en cas de pb (bagage perdu ou evacuation)

Make sure to click on “show all” button (or equivalent button of your app) once in the messages tab. Once visible, mark them as read so they won’t remain as “active” unread message.

I had this behavior with my app that was considering the messages read (so hidding them by default when going to the messages tab) once i opened it while not marking it read on lemmy side (hence the 7 unread messages displayed)
