I don’t think I was ever stung by a wasp, and I even held one in my hand once.

Grime. I lost my patience on one of the bosses and just couldn’t get back into it.
I didn’t migrate yet because I was five years into a project that I can only work on in my spare time, but you can bet that if I ever start another game, I’m looking at a different engine.
My cat used to wait for me to clean the litter box. Sometimes she’d look in it and walk away if it had too many clumps, but then use it immediately after I clean it.
I had one years ago with internet explorer that ended up being because “console.log” was not defined in that browser unless you had the console window open. That was fun to troublshoot.
I got myself mildly addicted to Mindustry. Wiping out enemy bases can be pretty satisfying.
Also me at work.
Ooh, I have a video for this: https://spectra.video/w/pz5XVrqnXtuS7zHgq32gw4
Yeah. We have a bunch of clients so I can be on several projects at a time. And it’s a privately owned company that, to my knowledge, the owner has no intention of selling.
I got insanely lucky wit my job. I responded to an email that came through my college CS department about a potential job and got an in-person interview with the CEO of a tiny company nobody has heard of. The guy’s personality made it easier to talk to him despite my anxiety.
Instead of the bullshit riddles that every other tech job interview has, he sent me home with a simple assignment to make a simple webpage where a user could log in.
After submitting that, I kinda forgot about it until several month later when I randomly decide to check my school email account and found an email from him that was almost a month old (my PC wasn’t working before that, and I didn’t need to use it much at the time).
I replied just in time. 12 years later I’m the most senior developer.
Thank you.
Edit: Shit I misread that comment.
Thank you.
I open the text file where my powershell history is stored when the command I want isn’t recent enough.
Had to put my cat down on Monday. She was with me for at least 18 years. That morning was rougher than I expected. I’ve lost several pets and all four grandparents without shedding a tear, but this was much harder.
I put on a youtube video of birds for her to watch, as I had many times before. Seeing her watching it as if she wasn’t feeling sick, knowing it was my last day with her, it fucking broke me.
The first time I saw gameplay footage of the original Doom, I thought it looked almost photorealistic. I must’ve been like 6 or 7 at the time.
Who else edited the hand-pointer cursor to have the middle finger up? I know it wasn’t just me.
Recently found out our dog has Addison’s disease. But worse than that, my cat seems to be on her way out. Not eating, but throwing up water.
I’ve lost a lot of pets in my life, but this one’s gonna hit me the hardest.

That’s why I got a mouse with extra buttons on the side, so I can just copy and paste using my thumb.
I send them after my enemies.
