I didn’t appreciate how much of chemistry and biology is just geometry until reading about AlphaFold. AFAIK, antigens bind because they literally “fit”. And if they don’t fit, it just slips off until the body can produce a matching geometry.

I’m on season 4 of Episodes and it’s still quite funny. It’s shot and dialogue are a bit calmpy at times, but then they build up some hilarious moments that work really well.

I’m also on season 3 of The Diplomat. It’s okay, kind of lost me a bit compared to first two seasons but I’m interested to see where it ends up.

I also really enjoy The Pitt, but waiting a week between episodes is annoying with the constant cliffhangers. Season 2 of Fallout was good but not as good as season 1. I’m looking forward to season 3.

Personally I think we’ll continue to have problems if misinformation is never found culpable of the deaths that they cause. There’s no way this person decided to drink unpasteurized milk alone. Who was her community and why aren’t they being held accountable? I have the same concerns with the head of the HHS, and previous cases of stochastic terrorism. Our system of justice (or what it once was…) is just illprepared for this.

I am wondering if this is presented better in different UIs. I’m regularly using the Summit Android app and there’s at least a button to see cross-posted communities with a comment counter to see if there’s more action traction somewhere else. It might be nice if it had some indicator that there’s a more active thread than the one I am currently on. I am not sure how other front ends handle it.

Or maybe the issue is dual posted content that isn’t cross-linked because it was submitted independently. Not sure of a solution to that that isn’t a lot of work.

I think the problem is her not properly informing the judge WHY she is being stonewalled or ignored by her company. The judge holding her in contempt is probably not going to do anything because ICE doesn’t give a fuck. So she should name names who WILL give a fuck so that they will be held in contempt.

The judicial branch could do something, include holding federal employees in contempt.

Friend, you are the one that brought a legal argument to the discussion. You’re being disingenuous by saying it’s now irrelevant when I asked for specific evidence supporting your claims.

I don’t know what a formal right is.

A “healthy kid” can also understand the need for parental guidance, particularly before teen years.

There is no general case. We’re discussing minors. Kids are not being victimized by being raised by competent, privacy minded parents. They don’t need the privacy in their digital communications while they are a minor. They need it when they are an adult, and my kids will know the value of that privacy better than you understand it.
