Astăzi, a sosit momentul să recunoaștem aceste eforturi, punând capăt mecanismului de cooperare și de verificare.

Activitățile din aceste domenii pot continua acum în cadrul ciclului anual privind statul de drept, cum este cazul tuturor statelor membre”, a declarat președinta Comisiei Europene, Ursula von der Leyen.

„Mă bucur că astăzi putem face următorul anunț oficial: Bulgaria și România și-au îndeplinit obiectivele de referință stabilite în cadrul mecanismului de cooperare și de verificare. Hotărârea de care au dat dovadă și colaborarea strânsă cu Comisia de-a lungul anilor au dat roade.

Va fi important să se mențină această dinamică și să se continue eforturile în cadrul ciclului anual privind statul de drept. Este o zi de bun augur nu numai pentru Bulgaria și România, ci și pentru întreaga Uniune Europeană”, a spus și vicepreședinta pentru valori și transparență Věra Jourová.

I mean… OP interacted with a privacy feature. The tracking was already blocked, but if you go further, you might be interested in privacy in other ways. It’s not an entirely unreasonable place to assume a user might be interested in your other privacy products.

That being said, I don’t know that I would put all my privacy eggs in one basket with one company. I use a variety of products, free and paid.

It is shortsighted and naive to think that following one avenue of progress is bad because we lag behind in other things. The amount of life saving and improving technologies that space travel has had a hand in might surprise you.

The ease at which people have been able to point to something and say “_____ is why you’re banned” kind of scares me into thinking something deeper is going on.

This thought would normally cause someone to be introspective. “What is it about oneself which is causing me to get banned?”. “Something deeper is probably going on” internally.

For the record, I’ve only ever been banned once in my life for something I’ve done or said, and that was 15 years ago. There are ways to say and do things which won’t get you banned. I’ve been on many forums and participated in many subreddits. I’ve even moderated before. The fact that you have a written down online code of honor/ruleset (regardless of its contents) is a red flag.
