Hey, I’m not the one that’d arrest me for going around naked!
and thus federated platforms show a strength: defederate with the trash, and the rest get better quality posters! … in theory.
I think moreso people are judging you from the position of already having read the comic to see it’s fellow kids they know. Because heaven forbid a comment require a hypothetical not set in reality… People are quite dull, even (and sometimes especially) on the internet.
Get a cook top. Even nice ones are like 100 bucks. Even induction ones and compatible pans are cheap. Five or six fast food visits and you could’ve bought enough to cook a massive variety of cheap meals.
No, that’s literally what she said. Get some reading comprehension ffs. HR talked to her instead of the boss who made the rude comment. Read it as many times as you need…
It was an ethical statement against somethinf that could and should be fixed with policy. Something that is enforced with law. It IS political no matter how much you want to pretend it isn’t.
DNC isn’t left wing. Look at what they did to Bernie, and then realize even Bernie is barely left wing in the international Overton Window.
The left does enhance education where possible. It’s just a massive up hill battle when public education is reduced and underfunded every time a conservative gains power, and isn’t enhanced much at all when a liberal gains power…
Please, explain how a minority is supposed to win against a hostile majority?
It infantalizes those qualities, so you are not so ironically being sexist while trying to speak against sexism.
You fool. You pay taxes on stock gains once they’re sold. You can write off donations… YOU are the one that would end up enriching the government with your money…

MotoAsh@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What’s a thing you miss that you’re 90% sure was objectively awful?2·11 天前Nah. “Young people have never experienced what it’s like to have privacy. To leave the house and be totally unreachable…”
That is explicitly what OP said. To be totally unreachable in the literal sense can easily be a source of anxiety on its own.
Worth talking about in academia. Not worth talking about at length when communicating with normies or 99% of the real world.
No, what I’m saying is you’re being as foolish as tankies when you buy that BS. Any communist worth the time of day understands ANY authoritarian is a piece of trash worth discarding, not honoring and cracking down on their neighbors for…
By subscribing to the horseshoe theory, you are implying that communism/socialism literally ARE headed toward the same place as fascism, instead of having been merely userped by authoritarians and the powerful. That is completely ignorant to the very intent of those political ideologies…
No, I’m saying a dumb HR worker won’t rattle the cage in which they sit.
MotoAsh@lemmy.worldtoEconomics@lemmy.world•Brooklyn electronics company Adafruit hit with surprise $36K tariff bill: "pay in one week"5·11 天前OH! I’m thinking of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, which is in Britain.
I guess I confused them in my head since I got in to both around the same time so many years ago and seldom think about origins of corps…

Wow, someone still has some pieces to pick up before they can be mature about emotional vulnerability…
