Yeah, it’s 30s to 20s here in the semi-arid (usually) hotbed part of Texas, where all the oil gets sucked up. Not to mention the rainpour. Lights were flickering in my home too, so the (state’s) energy grid is probably being strained to its limits already. Honestly love this type of weather though.

I was just thinking along this same line two days ago. My fucking petite bourgeois family was talking about how, in Cuba, Venezuela, etc; that the people have “no weapons” and, as a result, they can never oppose supposed “socialist electoral rigging” or “dictatorships” (I imagine you get what I mean, it’s that same bullshit capitalist propaganda). These same stupid assholes will never use the guns they have for “protecting our rights”, and “protecting our communities against the government”. Without political and class consciousness, they’ll never get further than mild discontent. They’ll never raise a barrel if they already have accepted it as normal, they’re so atomized from one another that they cannot form any sort of collective resistance- if push comes to shove.

My step-father said she should have complied. How easily these supposed freedoms that the “great” American nation creates, gets thrown away- and fast. Unfortunately, I am forced to hear such Petite Bourgeoisie reaction everyday.

It absolutely is. Around 2022, or 2020(?), we had a giant blizzard that even coated the arid oil wasteland part of Texas I live in, in snow. It resulted in outages and rolling black-outs for days. Absolutely terrible. It’s gonna happen again, catastrophically, when the data centers arrive. Lol

That’s not what the ‘State’ means, that’s just governance in general. Not to mention that you would be unable to coerce any of the Bourgeoisie to the will of the Proletariat in any form. You wouldn’t be able to seize the means of production at all; nationalization without State force is impossible, among other numerous issues. Without the oppression of the Bourgeoisie, through the use of the State, the Proletariat are at risk of oppression again by the Bourgeoisie.

My comrades here are trying to tell you that this is an ideological dead end, and instead redirect you to actually read Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, etc. Not Wikipedia articles. Atleast read the Communist Manifesto, it is not that long and is possible to read- even with ADHD, which I suffer from heavily. It will atleast give you the bare basics.
