Oh god. Another reason to hate the prick.
He should deploy them to help find those elusive Epstein files, last seen on Bondi’s desk
Funny, when Europe does this, it’s called “socialism”.

I’ll definitely post an update! I’m looking forward to the new experience
Your comment has me convinced. I tend to read sci-fi but have been “classic curious” for a long time. Had been eyeing Silas Marner for a while - it’s now next in my list (after I finish Use of Weapons by Iain M. Banks).
What pressure? Wasn’t the whole thing pretty much planned for years?
Putin went there with an agenda. Trump blew hot air about sanctions if there wasn’t a ceasefire, and 3 hours in, he’s parroting the Putin line. Trump has dementia- he shouldn’t be in charge of an ice cream van.
He always caves under pressure. Totally clueless
I think if any other nation was bombing civilians, causing famine, shooting civilians at food distribution centres, threatening mass deportation of civilians and levelling cities, building illegal settlements, there would be justified anger and pushback. Cutting down an olive tree is not that. A nation can play the victim until they start to commit war crimes. Then they are the war criminals. Fuck Israel. They’ve lost the right to be a nation.
“Idiots. Idiots everywhere.”
I’m of the same opinion. I sometimes see people on my light rail commute journey carrying physical books and it just makes me appreciate the convenience of ebooks.
Israel is a rogue nation. Boycott, divest and sanction. The only thing that works.
No class.
About half way through Player of Games by Iain M. Banks.
Decided to re-read the entire series. Read it years ago and it’s as good the second time round.
Love the analogy :-)
An image I can’t get out of my head!!
Voyager
But thanks for this list - gives me a few alternatives I can try :-)
Just started today, Player of Games by Iain M. Banks.
I’ve read the entire series, and decided to re-read. Just completed Consider Phlebus yesterday and it was as good as the first time I read it.
I didn’t think USians did irony
